Developing a Style Guide

After communicating with the client, understanding their needs and vision for a redesigned site, I created a style guide and presented it as a powerpoint to my team. Below are a few slides from this powerpoint.

Hi-fi Prototypes

After confirming that the client was satisfied with the results of the style guide, the next step was to create a fully functional high-fidelity prototype of the site. Using Figma, I designed prototypes for both web and mobile applications, ensuring the design was consistent and user-friendly across all platforms. These prototypes served as a blueprint for the development phase, allowing the client to visualize the final product before implementation.

Development and UAT

With the hifi prototypes approved, the next step was to build the site and its components. The development process involved integrating the design into the content management system (Optimizely) and populating the site with content. Once the site was built, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) was conducted to ensure the site adhered to WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards and was fully functional. This phase was critical in identifying and resolving any issues, ensuring the final product met both client expectations and industry standards.
